Occupation: Physiotherapist
Natalie was born in Rockingham, WA and grew up in the Perth region. She studied at Curtin University at the Shenton Park Campus. Following graduation, she worked in a number of areas including private practice with LifeCare, FIFO to Carnarvon and Newman in the public system at Northam Hospital and Albany Health Campus and then starting her own successful private practice Albany Children’s Physio in 2016
Her professional interests and specialties is in working with children from the ages of birth through to high school age. In particular, Natalie enjoys working with children with hypermobility, retained primitive reflexes and musculoskeletal conditions such as Osgood Schlatter’s and severs disease.
Natalie tells us that she always wanted to work as a physiotherapist. She used to massage her mums feet and one day, she can still remember, she said “one day you will be a great physio”, so Natalie decided very early that this is the career that she would like to do and is very happy she did.
Living in the Great Southern is awesome because there are no traffic lights. She loves that fact that she can drive 5mins to a pristine beach and sometimes be the only person there. Natalie also loves that we have numerous hiking opportunities and a strong sporting community that keeps her business doors open.
Her number one passion is her husband and her family; She loves that they are behind everything she does; it’s not just a job and she knows that Albany Children’s Physio is a team – they have each other’s backs.
When Natalie isn’t hard at work you will find her at the beach or sailing.
