Palliative Care Workshop

Nurses & Allied Health Professionals are asked to come and join the Great Southern Palliative Care Team for this interactive face to face session utilising group discussion and case studies to provide participants with a greater understanding of palliative care and how it can be implemented within the area you work in.

Topics covered:
• Pain assessment/medications
• Management nausea/vomiting
• Terminal Restlessness and Management of Dyspnoea
• Case studies
• Debriefing
• Resources/supports
• Grief loss/Spirituality
• Family meetings

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
