Aboriginal Health Conference – Perth

The Aboriginal Health Conference 2022 will take place on Whadjuk country. We acknowledge the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as the Traditional Owners of the Perth region and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respect to Whadjuk elders past and present and their cultures. We are committed to a positive future for the Aboriginal community.

The Aboriginal Health Conference 2022 will focus on healing from the past and strengthening the future. It will provide an opportunity to come together and learn from those who came before us, and reflect on how we can move through the challenges faced over the last two years in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic. By learning from the past, we can strengthen our future.
The conference program will have five streams:
- Mental health
- Sexual health
- Cultural competency in health
- Chronic conditions
- Health across the life stages
