DESCRIPTION:After a 10 year battle with an eating disorder in her 20’s and ongoing depression well into her 40’s\, Amanda was no stranger to the therapist’s couch. But after years of talk therapy and even 15 years of meditation practice\, the internal dialogue of ‘never good enough’ and the constant drive for approval and perfection was relentless. Amanda will share her story of recovery including why mindfulness and talk therapy was not enough for her\, and how somatic mindfulness helped Amanda and others find freedom from an eating disorder. \nThe presentation will include 30 minutes of Q&A’s with Amanda and the audience. \nRegister here
